inTOTUM® worked with Ray Group and Zarraffa’s Coffee to deliver the concept design, development approval, and construction documentation for a new quick service restaurant located in the regional north Queensland town of Ayr.

The design was developed to be functional, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with Zarraffa’s brand standards. Built on a small site, the design required careful consideration of delivery vehicle access while maintaining clear and efficient customer access to the drive-through.

With tight a construction budget, a compact modular building format was adopted. The building was constructed and fitted out off site, then delivered by truck. This approach allowed building works to run in parallel with site works, reducing overall construction time and helping the project remain on budget.
