Service Station Knock Down Rebuild

United Ingham

Casa Building Group engaged inTOTUM® to provide building design and fuel system design services for the knock-down rebuild of the United Service Station in Ingham, Northern Queensland. The project required adapting the United Standard Building and fuel system to suit the flood-prone nature of the site.

inTOTUM® developed inventive solutions to flood-proof critical elements of the site, ensuring the station could recover quickly in the event of a flood. This included flood mitigation measures for the fuel system and installing electrical equipment, where practicable, above expected flood levels. By integrating practical, resilient design strategies, the rebuild delivers a safe, compliant, and fully functional service station tailored to the site’s unique environmental challenges.
